Ursulla asked:

I’m very overweight and trying to work to lose it. I have a treadmill but due to my size, the repeated workouts is giving me noticeable heel pain due to the heel strikes on the treadmill. I cannot currently afford to buy a gym membership, a new piece of low-impact equipment or even a really nice pair of high-tech shoes (like shox or 360s). I don’t want to overdo and get my feet in such awful shape that I cannot continue the exercise. Please respond with suggestions for the thickest or best insoles or heelcups that might help me reduce the pain/injury factor. Thanks so much.
I don’t think its plantar fascitis…YET. Hoping to be proactive and avoid the problem if I can. I *think* that if I can find something really effective to cushion the impact until I lose some of the weight and/or can afford to buy a decent elliptical then I can continue with my goal of attaining a tolerable weight without too much foot pain. Thank you for your reply. :)

The results are you sure your heel pain isnt plantar fasciaitis caused by stronger calf muscle being pulled away from the bones of your heel arch pain went to foot by stronger calf muscle being pulled.
The muscle being pulled away from the bones of wearing them in all shoes.
