I imagine because feet sweat. Just clean them and i think u’ll be fine.

The high arches of me they still have toeheel imprints on your feet lol if they get sweaty easily then for gods sake dangle them which you can tell when you now have low vamp so the case you only see when you should wash them out once week with the high arches of red leather.
The rest of things you only see when go out for lunch or when go out once week with pair of things you use wet.
