Cure Foot Pain

OUCH!  Foot pain is a common problem suffered by all ages of adults. Today, getting through the day is tough enough; painful feet will only make it tougher.  If you find yourself with foot pain when trying to accomplish your daily routine, you may want to look into arch supports.  If you are on your feet for long periods of time, you need a pair of shoes that is pleasing to your feet.  Lack of arch support can lead to fallen arches and too much artificial arch can cause just as much discomfort as having not enough arch support.  So, what is the best arch support?  The best arch support is the support that allows your foot to be restored to its natural position.  Some options include insoles or supportive shoes; the key is to find an amount and the style that works for you. - try experimenting.

Wearing arch supports won’t make your feet develop an arch. They just compensate for your foot’s lack of proper shock absorption.  Flat shoes with no support can put your whole body out of alignment. You’re smart for doing something about this now. Try to preserve what arch you have, because it’s a good built-in shock absorber. Untreated foot problems can lead to even more problems later in your life, including bad knee problems like I developed or foot problems like bunions.

Aligned arches will help your feet; plus straighten and strengthen your back, improve posture, which in turn will lessen leg, knee and lower back pain.  To get rid of really bad foot pain depends on what is causing the pain.  Arch support insoles for your shoes are good if you have fallen arches.  Insoles help with flat foot pain, 1 in every 8 people have flat feet.  Activities that cause you to be on your poor aching feet for hours upon hours can feel better with some good arch support shoes.  A foot massage can work wonders if your feet, lower back or hamstrings are tight.

Exercising your feet will help ease the pain.  Try to stretch your feet few times a day. Wear comfortable shoes, use shoe inserts if you need them, choose an insole that absorbs shock but is not soft.  When you are home, get a tennis ball and put the ball underneath your foot and rub it around on the floor.  A nightly soak in Epsom salt will help rid foot pain.  You may notice that you don’t have to soak your feet so much at the end of the day as long as you slip them into something a little more comfortable during the day.

Your feet do a lot for you; just try to think of what it would be like without them.  Now, don’t your feet deserve the best?
